Concrete takeoff from the plans, straight to the bid.

Upload the plan PDF, check the scale and trace the concrete. The yards, lengths and counts land on the bid with your own prices. No second program, nothing to retype.

14-day trial, then $44/mo + tax. Unlimited people, desk and crew.

Garage slab 24′ × 24′ · 4″ Footing run S-101 · FOUNDATION PLAN · 1/4″ = 1′-0″ SCALE SET
Take off

Trace it on the plan. It is priced like anything you draw.

A slab, footing or wall you trace over the sheet is a real shape on the bid, with the yards, rebar and labor figured from your prices.

  • Upload the plan PDF and pick the sheet. Each sheet keeps its own scale.
  • Check the scale by measuring one size you know before you trace.
  • Lengths, areas and counts for everything that is not a slab: curb to saw, sleeves, light bases. Add any of them to the bid as a line item.
  • The plans stay with the job, so they are there when you open it on the office computer.
One program, not two. No exporting quantities out of a takeoff tool and typing them into an estimate.

Read the plans

Help with the big sets, and you stay in charge.

Under Read the plans, ConCal can sort a big set and read the fine print for you. It never sets a size, price or quantity on its own.

  • Find the concrete pages in a big set, so you start on the right sheets.
  • Read notes and specs like the mix, PSI and rebar notes. Each one has Add to notes or Skip.
  • Check my tracing against the sizes written on the sheet.
  • Read the scale off scanned sheets that do not set their own.
Catches the 4000 PSI note buried in the general notes, before you bid the job at 3000.
Then the job

The same takeoff runs the rest of the job.

You measured it once, so everything after the bid already has the numbers.

  • A takeoff report that prints every sheet with its numbers.
  • The proposal your customer signs, built from the bid.
  • The crew sheet with the plan sheets and quantities. Never your prices.
  • The plant order on a won job, with the yards by mix.
Bid against the field. See what each job really used and price the next one from that.

Common questions

What is concrete takeoff software?

It measures the concrete off a set of plans: the area of each slab, the length of each footing and wall, and the count of things like piers and sleeves. ConCal does the takeoff inside the estimator, so the quantities are priced as you go instead of being copied into another program.

Can I do a takeoff from a PDF?

Yes. Upload the plan PDF, pick a sheet and check the scale, then trace. On a scanned sheet that does not set its own scale, Read the scale finds it, and you confirm it by measuring one size you know.

Does it handle footings, walls and piers, or only slabs?

All of them. Slabs, footings, walls and columns are shapes on the bid with their own yards. Other runs, areas and counts can go on the bid as line items.

Do I still need a separate estimating program?

No. The takeoff, the bid, the proposal, the crew sheet and the hours are all in ConCal, and the prices are the ones you set in My Prices.

What if the job has no plans?

Draw the shape on screen with its sizes, like you would on a pad. For a quick number on one pour, the free concrete calculator gives you the yards.

How much does ConCal cost?
