Terms of Service

Last updated: April 12, 2026

Welcome to ConCal. These are the terms you agree to when you use our service. We've written them in plain English — if something isn't clear, email us at hello@con-cal.net and we'll explain it.

1. What ConCal Is

ConCal is a web-based concrete estimating tool built for contractors. It helps you draw job areas on screen, calculate material volumes, and generate cost estimates and proposals. We offer a free tier and two paid plans:

PlanPriceBilling
Free$0—
Pro$19/month or $192/yearMonthly or annual, auto-renews
Teams$49/month or $492/yearMonthly or annual, auto-renews

All prices are in USD and do not include applicable taxes.

2. Your Account

To save your work to the cloud or access Pro/Teams features, you need to create an account with a valid email address. Account authentication is handled by Supabase (our backend provider).

  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Don't share your account with other people — each user needs their own login.
  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3. Free Tier Limits

The free plan gives you full access to the drawing and estimating tools locally in your browser, with these limits:

  • Up to 3 saved job estimates
  • Up to 5 saved customers
  • No cloud sync — your data stays on the device you're using
  • No proposal generation or sharing

Upgrade to Pro or Teams to remove these limits.

4. Billing and Payments

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel first.
  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel from your dashboard settings at any time. You'll keep access through the end of your current paid period — we don't cut you off early.
  • Monthly plans: No refunds once a billing period has started.
  • Annual plans: If you cancel within 30 days of your annual renewal, contact us and we'll issue a prorated refund for unused months. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
  • Taxes: Where required by law, we collect sales tax on top of the listed price. The tax amount is calculated at checkout based on your billing location.
  • Price changes: We'll give you at least 30 days notice by email before changing subscription prices.

5. Your Data

Your job estimates, customer information, proposal data, and anything else you create in ConCal is yours. We don't sell it, share it for marketing purposes, or claim any ownership over it.

You can export all your data as a JSON file from your dashboard settings at any time. You can also delete your account and all associated data from the same settings page — deletion is permanent.

6. Acceptable Use

ConCal is a tool for contractors to estimate concrete work. When using it, don't:

  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the service
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Share your account login with other users (each person needs their own account)
  • Use the service to do anything illegal or harmful
  • Try to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell any part of ConCal
  • Abuse our support team or contact channels

Violations may result in your account being suspended or terminated.

7. Estimates Are Tools, Not Guarantees

ConCal helps you estimate concrete volumes and costs faster — but the numbers it produces are tools to guide your bidding, not guaranteed outcomes.

  • ConCal is not a licensed engineering tool. All outputs — including volume calculations, cost estimates, and material quantities — should be verified by a qualified professional (e.g., a licensed engineer or architect) before use on permitted projects or structural work.
  • Material prices in ConCal are approximate and vary by region and time. Always verify current prices with your local supplier before submitting a bid.
  • Volume calculations assume the dimensions you enter are accurate and do not account for sub-base variation, soil conditions, site grading, over-excavation, or local building code requirements. Field conditions including waste, over-pours, and slump variation will affect actual material usage.
  • It is the user's sole responsibility to ensure all calculations comply with applicable local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • ConCal is not responsible for construction errors, cost overruns, material shortages, structural failures, or any damages resulting from reliance on estimates generated by the tool. You are the professional — your judgment governs the bid.

8. Termination

You can leave at any time. Delete your account from your dashboard settings. Your data will be permanently removed.

We can terminate accounts for cause. If you violate these terms — particularly around abuse, scraping, or account sharing — we may suspend or terminate your account. If we do so without cause, we'll refund any unused prepaid subscription time.

9. Limitation of Liability

ConCal is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running reliably, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime or that every calculation will be error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConCal's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll send you an email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use ConCal after that date means you accept the updated terms. We'll always keep the current version here at con-cal.net/terms.

Minor changes (typos, clarifications that don't affect your rights) may be made without notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Texas.

Questions about these terms? Email us at hello@con-cal.net and we'll get back to you.
